Alexandre Helson

Alexandre Helson (1986)graduated in 2011 with high honors in Business Engineering from the Solvay Brussels School (Free University of Brussels).

Characterized by an open and a non-conformity mind, Alexandre is a true enthusiast of the Web, new technologies and entrepreneurship since his early age. After a first successful consultancy mission carried out for WooRank in 2011, it seemed obvious to him to incorporate a young innovative and dynamic start-up such as Semetis, which values ​​entrepreneurial and atypical personalities.

Prior to joining Semetis, Alexandre has worked in several extra-academic missions, including a study on the profitability of investment funds for the university Belgian society EEBIC, an incubator for spin-offs and start-up of the ULB.

In addition to his entrepreneurial spirit, Alexandre is also known for his team spirit and involvement in numerous civic projects including the creation of Solvay Finance Club, the management of numerous projects and organizations such as team Sponsoring SBS-EM, and the Boitsfort Rugby Club where he practices high-level rugby for many years. Indeed, he participated several times at the European Championships of Rugby in the youth category.

In 2010, Alexandre spent an Erasmus semester in Norway which gave him a chance to discover a new culture. He returned to Belgium with the dynamism of the North, which earned him his nickname of "Norwegian".

Alexandre speaks fluently English, French, and Dutch.
He is also an Epicurean who likes to enjoy the simple pleasures of life such as sharing a good meal with friends.
