Sylvain Thirionet

Sylvain Thirionet (1987)obtained in 2011 the Commercial Engineering degree from ICHEC Brussels Management School with a specialization in "Sustainable Management". His choice of courses in science, technology and statistics motivated him throughout his Master's Degree. Sylvain also studied in 2009 in Holland at the "Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HES), University of Applied Sciences (HvA)" as part of the Erasmus Exchange program. He initiated there his understanding and affinities with the web.

In 2011, Sylvain conducted a five-months project as an environment consultant for the National Bank of Belgium. His ecological values and convictions led him to find the optimal solution for the recycling of the waste of the Bank. Moreover, given his technical engineering background, he focused closely on the biomethanation of organic waste, while effectively studying its earnings on a larger scale.

That same year, Sylvain contributed to the set-up of the non-profit association ALLEGRO, which aims at educating youth on discrimination/disability issues. He has also worked on a mission to manage and enrich databases within the famous insurance company Generali.

Sylvain speaks fluently French, Dutch, English and Spanish. Outside of work, he likes to set goals in his everyday life. Sylvain has been a hockey goalkeaper for the last 12 years. He often compares athletic challenges with those encountered in business. in order to relax, he devotes himself to meditation and spends time with his friends, often enjoying a good special beer or Trappist.
