Elise joined Semetis in November 2023 as a Digital Business Analyst, as she wanted to continue to strengthen her knowledge in digital marketing while helping various clients to evolve in a constantly changing data-driven environment. Prior to that, she did a bachelor’s degree in business engineering at Université Catholique de Louvain, followed by a master’s degree in business engineering from Louvain School of Management, with a specialization in Marketing Strategy for Connected Brands.
During her second year of master, she also had the opportunity to study at Korea University Business School in Seoul, where she learned more about Internet Marketing through exercises and practical projects that triggered her interest in data and digital marketing even more. However, as she was curious about both offline and digital worlds, back to Belgium, she interned at an agency as an Audiovisual Buyer Executive. There, she oversaw booking and optimizing TV campaigns for different advertisers, confirming her desire to work in a consulting-like industry for a variety of clients and sectors in the future. That interest in consulting and marketing was not new as she really enjoyed advising student entrepreneurs and creating social media posts to reach them as part of a Student Entrepreneurship Club during her bachelor's degree. More recently, she finished her quantitative Master Thesis about Korean Wave’s impact on French-speaking European customers’ intentions to purchase Korean Cosmetics, which intensified her interest in analyzing data through marketing research as well.
In her free time, Elise enjoys traveling, improving her knowledge in Korean and Dutch languages, but also engages in creative activities such as cooking desserts, learning how to make clothes, or playing piano. She also really appreciates going indoor climbing or discovering new food places with her friends or family.
